Tell us a bit about yourselves - formed 18 months ago as an indie / rock / folk duo SIKORA began with rare acoustic performances in the pubs around Sheffield building up to more high profile venues. Andrea is from Sardinia and has an outstanding enthusiasm for performing live. Graham and Andrea play all their own original material. The two Davids joined the band in 2006.
Graham is now regarded as a first class songwriter who brings to life stories and memories through a catalogue of songs. Graham and Andrea are continuing to write and perform powerful new songs.
Over the past three years Graham has played live at Sheffield Leadmill, The NMB Sheffield Hallam Union, The Cavern, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Leeds Live Festival, The Boardwalk - Sheffield, London Camden Barfly, Manchester - Night & Day, Middleton Civic, Star & Garter - Manchester, Band on the Wall - Manchester, London Garage. The huge Sheffield City Hall gig on 18 December, ‘Made In Sheffield’ unsigned night was the big end of year event in 2003.
Graham with Skydiva also performed in the Showcase TV studios, Shepherds Bush recording 3 tracks for Sky TV. Reviews have included,

Best moments so far - the mammoth ‘Made In Sheffield’ gig at Sheffield City Hall, The Leadmill Sheffield gig ‘Best of The Boardwalk’ unsigned was the big end of year event for Graham and a highlight in the Sheffield live music scene.
What’s SIKORA Music Like - An exciting blend of indie, rock - melodic with edge - contrasting pulsating electric with more mellow acoustic based performances demonstrating the beauty of combining strong melodies with sheer power, enthusiasm and energy. SIKORA create an intense music buzz that is passionate and spirited one moment - calm and thoughtful the next. Paradoxically the SIKORA ‘sound’ is both sophisticated and primitive, complex and simple, unique and strangely familiar like a hit single!
Who are the influences - Graham and Andrea take their influences from all areas of the music world - Pink Floyd, James Taylor, Metallica, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Mercury Rev, The Waterboys, Nick Drake, Al Stewart, Billy Joel, John Martin - and not forgetting David Bowie.
