I was born in 1967 in Kaluga, Russia. I am a professional drummer, composer songwriter and band leader. I also play percussion and piano. I am a seeker and sharer of professional knowledge and experience.
My interests refuse confinement to category, and having extraordinary will, energy, insatiable enthusiasm and curiosity about life, I am anxious to continually expand my creative capabilities and to explode any limitations of specialization.
I am musical college graduate and have got both long-time studio practice as a drummer, arranger and programmer as well as onstage experience at professional level. I have over 20 years of experience in many styles (live & studio).
Having been quite a versatile musican and composer over the years I have authored four solo albums of songs and instrumentals ranging from progressive-rock songs to neo-classical piano-works to jazz-rock/fusion tunes and drum-oriented to dance and electronic tracks.
Much of what I do is conceived, improvised and recorded in my home studio.
I think that the most unique and exciting thing about my life as a musician is the ability to transmit the infectious love of music to the audience, and make my drumming and music to pervade the very body of everyone all around.
My plans for my future are that I'm looking forward to the possibility of collaborating and participating in a diverse community of artists and evolving my work, collaborating with other musicians to be eventually even more active internationally, contributing along with those of other countries to the enrichment of world culture.

Ruslan Moiseev along with his four-piece all original OMNIUM-BAND won the Grand-Prize at the International Jazz Festival in 2004.
OMNIUM-BAND released their full-length debut album in April 2005, gained all-national TV-exposure in August 2005 and have given invariably enjoyable and crowd-pleasing shows during their national tour in the fall of 2005.
